প্রভু বোলে,—“শ্রীধর, তোমারে কহি তত্ত্ব! আমা’ হৈতে তোর সব গঙ্গার মহত্ত্ব ॥ ২১০ ॥

प्रभु बोले,—“श्रीधर, तोमारे कहि तत्त्व! आमा’ हैते तोर सब गङ्गार महत्त्व ॥ २१० ॥

prabhu bole,—“śrīdhara, tomāre kahi tattva! āmā’ haite tora saba gaṅgāra mahattva || 210 ||

prabhu bole,—“sridhara, tomare kahi tattva! ama’ haite tora saba gangara mahattva (210)

English translation:

(210) The Lord then said, “Śrīdhara, let Me tell you the truth. The glories of your Ganges are due to Me.”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

While describing the truth about Himself, the Lord said to Śrīdhara, “All that you have heard about the special glories of Gaṅgā, who springs from the lotus feet of Viṣṇu—that Gaṅgā and her glories have emanated from Me. In other words, I am the original cause of the Gaṅgā.”
