The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.205, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 205 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.12.205:

শ্রীধরের গাছে যেই লাউ ধরে চালে তাহা খায প্রভু দুগ্ধ-মরিচের ঝালে ॥ ২০৫ ॥

श्रीधरेर गाछे येइ लाउ धरे चाले ताहा खाय प्रभु दुग्ध-मरिचेर झाले ॥ २०५ ॥

śrīdharera gāche yei lāu dhare cāle tāhā khāya prabhu dugdha-maricera jhāle || 205 ||

sridharera gache yei lau dhare cale taha khaya prabhu dugdha-maricera jhale (205)

English translation:

(205) Whenever a squash grew on the roof of Śrīdhara’s cottage, the Lord would eat it, cooked with milk and black pepper.
