The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.172, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 172 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.12.172:

এই-মত ঈশ্বর-তত্ত্ব দেখে সর্ব-জান তথাপি না বুঝে কিছু,—হেন মাযা তা’ন ॥ ১৭২ ॥

एइ-मत ईश्वर-तत्त्व देखे सर्व-जान तथापि ना बुझे किछु,—हेन माया ता’न ॥ १७२ ॥

ei-mata īśvara-tattva dekhe sarva-jāna tathāpi nā bujhe kichu,—hena māyā tā’na || 172 ||

ei-mata isvara-tattva dekhe sarva-jana tathapi na bujhe kichu,—hena maya ta’na (172)

English translation:

(172) In this way the astrologer saw the Lord’s various incarnations, but due to the Lord’s illusory energy he was unable to ascertain the meaning of what he had seen.
