The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.167, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 167 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

পুনঃ দেখে প্রভুরে নৃসিংহ-অবতার মহা-উগ্র রূপ ভক্ত-বত্সল অপার ॥ ১৬৭ ॥

पुनः देखे प्रभुरे नृसिंह-अवतार महा-उग्र रूप भक्त-वत्सल अपार ॥ १६७ ॥

punaḥ dekhe prabhure nṛsiṃha-avatāra mahā-ugra rūpa bhakta-vatsala apāra || 167 ||

punah dekhe prabhure nrsimha-avatara maha-ugra rupa bhakta-vatsala apara (167)

English translation:

(167) He then saw the Lord as Nṛsiṃha. Although He appeared most ferocious, He was the ultimate well-wisher of His devotees.
