The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.156, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 156 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.12.156:

“ভাল” বলি’ সর্ব-জ্ঞ সুকৃতি চিন্তে মনে জপিতে গোপাল মন্ত্র দেখে সেই-ক্ষণে ॥ ১৫৬ ॥

“भाल” बलि’ सर्व-ज्ञ सुकृति चिन्ते मने जपिते गोपाल मन्त्र देखे सेइ-क्षणे ॥ १५६ ॥

“bhāla” bali’ sarva-jña sukṛti cinte mane japite gopāla mantra dekhe sei-kṣaṇe || 156 ||

“bhala” bali’ sarva-jna sukrti cinte mane japite gopala mantra dekhe sei-ksane (156)

English translation:

(156) The pious astrologer agreed to the Lord’s request and began to chant the Gopāla mantra within his mind.
