The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.139, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 139 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

প্রভু বোলে,—“কডি বিনা কেনে গুযা দিলা তাম্বূলী বোলযে,—“চিত্তে হেনৈ লৈলা” ॥ ১৩৯ ॥
प्रभु बोले,—“कडि विना केने गुया दिला ताम्बूली बोलये,—“चित्ते हेनै लैला” ॥ १३९ ॥
prabhu bole,—“kaḍi vinā kene guyā dilā tāmbūlī bolaye,—“citte henai lailā” || 139 ||
prabhu bole,—“kadi vina kene guya dila tambuli bolaye,—“citte henai laila” (139)
English translation:
(139) The Lord then said, “Why did you give Me betel without payment?” The merchant replied, “I was inspired to.”
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The word guyā is derived from the Sanskrit word guvāk, which means “betel nuts.”
