The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.132, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 132 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.12.132:
প্রভু বোলে,—“ভাল মালা দেহ’, মালাকার! কডি-পাতি লগে কিছু নাহিক আমার” ॥ ১৩২ ॥
प्रभु बोले,—“भाल माला देह’, मालाकार! कडि-पाति लगे किछु नाहिक आमार” ॥ १३२ ॥
prabhu bole,—“bhāla mālā deha’, mālākāra! kaḍi-pāti lage kichu nāhika āmāra” || 132 ||
prabhu bole,—“bhala mala deha’, malakara! kadi-pati lage kichu nahika amara” (132)
English translation:
(132) The Lord said, “O florist, I would like a nice garland, but I have no money with Me.”
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
In the phrase kaḍi-pāti, which means “cash,” “expenses,” or “finance,” the word kaḍi comes from the Sanskrit word kapardaka and pāti comes from the Sanskrit word pātrī.
