The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.123, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 123 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.12.123:

সম্ভ্রমে বণিক্ করে চরণে প্রণাম প্রভু বোলে,—“আরে ভাই, ভাল-গন্ধ আন” ॥ ১২৩ ॥

सम्भ्रमे वणिक् करे चरणे प्रणाम प्रभु बोले,—“आरे भाइ, भाल-गन्ध आन” ॥ १२३ ॥

sambhrame vaṇik kare caraṇe praṇāma prabhu bole,—“āre bhāi, bhāla-gandha āna” || 123 ||

sambhrame vanik kare carane pranama prabhu bole,—“are bhai, bhala-gandha ana” (123)

English translation:

(123) The merchant offered his respectful obeisances to the Lord, who said, “O brother, bring Me some of your best perfume.”
