The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.79, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 79 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.12.79:

কেহ বোলে,—“হৈল দানব অধিষ্ঠান” কেহ বোলে,—“হেন বুঝি ডাকিনীর কাম” ॥ ৭৯ ॥

केह बोले,—“हैल दानव अधिष्ठान” केह बोले,—“हेन बुझि डाकिनीर काम” ॥ ७९ ॥

keha bole,—“haila dānava adhiṣṭhāna” keha bole,—“hena bujhi ḍākinīra kāma” || 79 ||

keha bole,—“haila danava adhisthana” keha bole,—“hena bujhi dakinira kama” (79)

English translation:

(79) Someone said, “He’s been possessed by a demon.” Someone else said, “This is the work of a witch.”
