The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.56, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 56 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

প্রভু দেখিলেই মাত্র নগরিযা-গণ পরম আদর করি’ বন্দেন চরণ ॥ ৫৬ ॥
प्रभु देखिलेइ मात्र नगरिया-गण परम आदर करि’ वन्देन चरण ॥ ५६ ॥
prabhu dekhilei mātra nagariyā-gaṇa parama ādara kari’ vandena caraṇa || 56 ||

English translation:
(56) Whenever the residents saw the Lord, they would welcome Him with great respect.
