The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.21, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 21 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.12.21:

হাসি’ দুই হাতে প্রভু রাখিলা ধরিযা “ন্যায পড তুমি, আমা’ যাও প্রবোধিযা” ॥ ২১ ॥

हासि’ दुइ हाते प्रभु राखिला धरिया “न्याय पड तुमि, आमा’ याओ प्रबोधिया” ॥ २१ ॥

hāsi’ dui hāte prabhu rākhilā dhariyā “nyāya paḍa tumi, āmā’ yāo prabodhiyā” || 21 ||

hasi’ dui hate prabhu rakhila dhariya “nyaya pada tumi, ama’ yao prabodhiya” (21)

English translation:

(21) The Lord smiled as He caught Gadādhara’s hands and said, “Aren’t you studying logic? Come, let us debate.”
