The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.18, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 18 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.12.18:

“মনুষ্যের এ-মত পাণ্ডিত্য আছে কোথা! হেন শাস্ত্র নাহিক, অভ্যাস নাহি যথা! ॥ ১৮ ॥

“मनुष्येर ए-मत पाण्डित्य आछे कोथा! हेन शास्त्र नाहिक, अभ्यास नाहि यथा! ॥ १८ ॥

“manuṣyera e-mata pāṇḍitya āche kothā! hena śāstra nāhika, abhyāsa nāhi yathā! || 18 ||

“manusyera e-mata panditya ache kotha! hena sastra nahika, abhyasa nahi yatha! (18)

English translation:

(18) “An ordinary human being cannot possess such knowledge! There is no literature that He is not conversant with!

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The Lord was learned in all scriptures; there was no scripture that the Lord had not already mastered. In fact, unlimited expertise in all scriptures was present in Him.
