The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.8, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 8 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.12.8:

মনে ভাবে মুকুন্দ,—“আজি জিনিমু কেমনে? ইহান অভ্যাস সব মাত্র ব্যাকরণে ॥ ৮ ॥

मने भावे मुकुन्द,—“आजि जिनिमु केमने? इहान अभ्यास सब मात्र व्याकरणे ॥ ८ ॥

mane bhāve mukunda,—“āji jinimu kemane? ihāna abhyāsa saba mātra vyākaraṇe || 8 ||

mane bhave mukunda,—“aji jinimu kemane? ihana abhyasa saba matra vyakarane (8)

English translation:

(8) Mukunda thought, “How will I defeat Him today? He is well versed only in grammar.
