The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.3, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 3 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

যত অধ্যাপক, প্রভু চালেন সবারে প্রবোধিতে শক্তি কোন জন নাহি ধরে ॥ ৩ ॥

यत अध्यापक, प्रभु चालेन सबारे प्रबोधिते शक्ति कोन जन नाहि धरे ॥ ३ ॥

yata adhyāpaka, prabhu cālena sabāre prabodhite śakti kona jana nāhi dhare || 3 ||

yata adhyapaka, prabhu calena sabare prabodhite sakti kona jana nahi dhare (3)

English translation:

(3) He challenged any teacher He would meet, but none of them had the power to defeat Him.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Śrī Gaurasundara defeated in scriptural debate all the teachers of Navadvīpa, which was the center of education. None of the teachers could compete with Him or satisfy Him with answers to His challenges.
