The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.11.89, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 89 of Adi-khanda chapter 11—“Meeting with Shri Ishvara Puri”.

চাহেন ঈশ্বর-পুরী প্রভুর শরীর সিদ্ধ-পুরুষের প্রায পরম গম্ভীর ॥ ৮৯ ॥
चाहेन ईश्वर-पुरी प्रभुर शरीर सिद्ध-पुरुषेर प्राय परम गम्भीर ॥ ८९ ॥
cāhena īśvara-purī prabhura śarīra siddha-puruṣera prāya parama gambhīra || 89 ||
cahena isvara-puri prabhura sarira siddha-purusera praya parama gambhira (89)
English translation:
(89) When Īśvara Purī saw Nimāi’s features, he could understand that Nimāi was a most grave and exalted personality.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The words siddha-puruṣera prāya mean “equal to a mahā-bhāgavata.” One should not misunderstand that the word prāya, or “almost,” means
that when Purīpāda saw Śrī Gaurasundara he did not even consider Him a siddha-puruṣa. Rather, he understood that the Lord, who was dressed as a siddha-puruṣa, was worshipable, and since the Lord accepted the mood of a devotee, He appeared as a siddha-puruṣa.
