The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.9.114, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 114 of Adi-khanda chapter 9—“Nityananda’s Childhood Pastimes and Travels to Holy Places”.

ভক্ত-স্থান দেখি’ প্রভু করেন ক্রন্দন না বুঝে তৈর্থিক ভক্তি-শূন্যের কারণ ॥ ১১৪ ॥
भक्त-स्थान देखि’ प्रभु करेन क्रन्दन ना बुझे तैर्थिक भक्ति-शून्येर कारण ॥ ११४ ॥
bhakta-sthāna dekhi’ prabhu karena krandana nā bujhe tairthika bhakti-śūnyera kāraṇa || 114 ||

English translation:
(114) Seeing the home of those devotees, Nityānanda began to cry. The local people, however, could not understand the Lord’s sentiments due to their lack of devotion.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The word tairthika refers to the so-called residents of the holy places, or local people. The words bhakti-śūnyera kāraṇa mean “due to the absence of devotion.”
