The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.9.82, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 82 of Adi-khanda chapter 9—“Nityananda’s Childhood Pastimes and Travels to Holy Places”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.9.82:

আর এক শিশু ধরি’ রাক্ষসের কাচে হনুমানে খাইবারে যায তা’র পাছে ॥ ৮২ ॥

आर एक शिशु धरि’ राक्षसेर काचे हनुमाने खाइबारे याय ता’र पाछे ॥ ८२ ॥

āra eka śiśu dhari’ rākṣasera kāce hanumāne khāibāre yāya tā’ra pāche || 82 ||

ara eka sisu dhari’ raksasera kace hanumane khaibare yaya ta’ra pache (82)

English translation:

(82) A boy dressed as a Rākṣasa then attempted to swallow Hanumān.

TEXT 83

kumbhīra jinilā, more jinibā kemane? tomā’ khāṅa, tabe kebā jīyābe lakṣmaṇe?

TRANSLATION

He challenged, “You have defeated the crocodile, but how will you defeat me? I will eat you, then who will revive Lakṣmaṇa?”
