The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.9.46, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 46 of Adi-khanda chapter 9—“Nityananda’s Childhood Pastimes and Travels to Holy Places”.

ভেরেণ্ডার গাছ কাটি’ ফেলাযেন জলে শিশু-গণ মেলি’ ‘জয রঘুনাথ’ বোলে ॥ ৪৬ ॥
भेरेण्डार गाछ काटि’ फेलायेन जले शिशु-गण मेलि’ ‘जय रघुनाथ’ बोले ॥ ४६ ॥
bhereṇḍāra gācha kāṭi’ phelāyena jale śiśu-gaṇa meli’ ‘jaya raghunātha’ bole || 46 ||
bherendara gacha kati’ phelayena jale sisu-gana meli’ ‘jaya raghunatha’ bole (46)
English translation:
(46) They cut castor oil plants and made a bridge across the water. Then all the boys exclaimed, “Jaya Raghunātha!”
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The bhereṇḍāra gācha, or “castor oil plants,” were uprooted and thrown into the water in imitation of the monkeys’ activities of uprooting and throwing many mountain peaks, stones, and trees on the surface of the ocean in order to build a bridge. The word jale refers to the water of the ocean.
