The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.8.198, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 198 of Adi-khanda chapter 8—“The Disappearance of Jagannatha Mishra”.

হরি-ভক্তি-শূন্য হৈল সকল সংসার অসত্-সঙ্গ অসত্-পথ বৈ নাহি আর ॥ ১৯৮ ॥
हरि-भक्ति-शून्य हैल सकल संसार असत्-सङ्ग असत्-पथ बै नाहि आर ॥ १९८ ॥
hari-bhakti-śūnya haila sakala saṃsāra asat-saṅga asat-patha bai nāhi āra || 198 ||
hari-bhakti-sunya haila sakala samsara asat-sanga asat-patha bai nahi ara (198)
English translation:
(198) At that time the entire world was devoid of devotional service to the Lord, and people were engaged simply in materialistic association and activities.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
All inferior mundane association and processes that have no relationship with the Absolute Truth, Viṣṇu, the controller of māyā, are simply materialistic association and activities.
