The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.8.33, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 33 of Adi-khanda chapter 8—“The Disappearance of Jagannatha Mishra”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.8.33:

যত ব্যাখ্যা গঙ্গাদাস পণ্ডিত করেন সকৃত্ শুনিলে মাত্র ঠাকুর ধরেন ॥ ৩৩ ॥

यत व्याख्या गङ्गादास पण्डित करेन सकृत् शुनिले मात्र ठाकुर धरेन ॥ ३३ ॥

yata vyākhyā gaṅgādāsa paṇḍita karena sakṛt śunile mātra ṭhākura dharena || 33 ||

yata vyakhya gangadasa pandita karena sakrt sunile matra thakura dharena (33)

English translation:

(33) After hearing only once, the Lord would assimilate whatever Gaṅgādāsa Paṇḍita explained.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word sakṛt means “once,” and the word dharena means “to realize or master something by deliberation.”
