The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.7.175, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 175 of Adi-khanda chapter 7—“Shri Vishvarupa Takes Sannyasa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.7.175:

আমার সে কাল্পনিক ‘শুচি’ বা ‘অশুচি’ স্রষ্টার কি দোষ আছে, মনে ভাব বুঝি’ ॥ ১৭৫ ॥

आमार से काल्पनिक ‘शुचि’ वा ‘अशुचि’ स्रष्टार कि दोष आछे, मने भाव बुझि’ ॥ १७५ ॥

āmāra se kālpanika ‘śuci’ vā ‘aśuci’ sraṣṭāra ki doṣa āche, mane bhāva bujhi’ || 175 ||

amara se kalpanika ‘suci’ va ‘asuci’ srastara ki dosa ache, mane bhava bujhi’ (175)

English translation:

(175) “Purity and impurity is only our mental creation. Please consider, what fault is there with the creator?

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word āmāra refers to a conditioned soul who has no conception of advaya-jñāna, or spiritual oneness. The word sraṣṭāra refers to the Lord, who is the creator of the universe.
