The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.7.162, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 162 of Adi-khanda chapter 7—“Shri Vishvarupa Takes Sannyasa”.

বিষ্ণু-নৈবেদ্যের যত বর্জ্য-হাঙ্ডী-গণ বসিলেন প্রভু হাঙ্ডী করিযা আসন ॥ ১৬২ ॥
विष्णु-नैवेद्येर यत वर्ज्य-हाङ्डी-गण वसिलेन प्रभु हाङ्डी करिया आसन ॥ १६२ ॥
viṣṇu-naivedyera yata varjya-hāṅḍī-gaṇa vasilena prabhu hāṅḍī kariyā āsana || 162 ||
visnu-naivedyera yata varjya-handi-gana vasilena prabhu handi kariya asana (162)
English translation:
(162) He then sat down on the old rejected pots that had been used for preparing offerings for Lord Viṣṇu.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The word varjya means “rejected” or “abandoned.” The word hāṅḍī is a corruption of the Sanskrit word hāṇḍī, which is a pot for cooking rice.
