The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.7.137, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 137 of Adi-khanda chapter 7—“Shri Vishvarupa Takes Sannyasa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.7.137:

“অনাযাসে মরণ, জীবন দৈন্য বিনে কৃষ্ণ সেবিলে সে হয, নহে বিদ্যা-ধনে ॥ ১৩৭ ॥

“अनायासे मरण, जीवन दैन्य विने कृष्ण सेविले से हय, नहे विद्या-धने ॥ १३७ ॥

“anāyāse maraṇa, jīvana dainya vine kṛṣṇa sevile se haya, nahe vidyā-dhane || 137 ||

“anayase marana, jivana dainya vine krsna sevile se haya, nahe vidya-dhane (137)

English translation:

(137) “If one wants to live without poverty and die peacefully, then he should serve Kṛṣṇa. Education and wealth will not help.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word nahe means “not possible.”
