The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.7.5, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 5 of Adi-khanda chapter 7—“Shri Vishvarupa Takes Sannyasa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.7.5:

শিখাইলে আরো হয দ্বি-গুণ চঞ্চল গৃহে যাহা পায, তাহা ভাঙ্গযে সকল ॥ ৫ ॥

शिखाइले आरो हय द्वि-गुण चञ्चल गृहे याहा पाय, ताहा भाङ्गये सकल ॥ ५ ॥

śikhāile āro haya dvi-guṇa cañcala gṛhe yāhā pāya, tāhā bhāṅgaye sakala || 5 ||

sikhaile aro haya dvi-guna cancala grhe yaha paya, taha bhangaye sakala (5)

English translation:

(5) Whenever His parents tried to restrain Him, He would create twice as much mischief. He would then break anything at home that He

could get His hands on.
