The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.5.76, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 76 of Adi-khanda chapter 5—“Eating the Mendicant Brahmana’s Offerings”.

“বালকের নাহি দোষ, শুন, মিশ্র-রায যে দিনে যে হবে, তাহা হৈবারে চায ॥ ৭৬ ॥
“बालकेर नाहि दोष, शुन, मिश्र-राय ये दिने ये हबे, ताहा हैबारे चाय ॥ ७६ ॥
“bālakera nāhi doṣa, śuna, miśra-rāya ye dine ye habe, tāhā haibāre cāya || 76 ||
“balakera nahi dosa, suna, misra-raya ye dine ye habe, taha haibare caya (76)
English translation:
(76) “Listen, Miśra, this child is not at fault. Whatever is meant to happen on a particular day will certainly take place.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The word rāya refers to one’s worshipable lord or master. As stated in the
Hitopadeśa: yad abhāvi na tad bhāvi bhāvi cen na tad anyathā
—“Whatever is not meant to be will never be, and whatever is meant to be cannot be otherwise.”
