The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.5.67, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 67 of Adi-khanda chapter 5—“Eating the Mendicant Brahmana’s Offerings”.

সম্ভ্রমে উঠিযা মিশ্র হাতে বাডি লৈযা ক্রোধে ঠাকুরেরে লৈযা যায ধাওযাইযা ॥ ৬৭ ॥
सम्भ्रमे उठिया मिश्र हाते वाडि लैया क्रोधे ठाकुरेरे लैया याय धाओयाइया ॥ ६७ ॥
sambhrame uṭhiyā miśra hāte vāḍi laiyā krodhe ṭhākurere laiyā yāya dhāoyāiyā || 67 ||
sambhrame uthiya misra hate vadi laiya krodhe thakurere laiya yaya dhaoyaiya (67)
English translation:
(67) Enraged, Jagannātha Miśra got up, took a stick in his hand, and chased after the Lord in anger.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
In this verse the word sambhrame means “enraged.” The word vāḍi means “stick.” In Bangladesh it is called a ṭheṅgā. The word ṭhākurere means “to the Lord.” The word dhāoyāiyā means “to follow” or “to chase swiftly.”
