The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.5.37, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 37 of Adi-khanda chapter 5—“Eating the Mendicant Brahmana’s Offerings”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.5.37:

আসিযা দেখেন জগন্নাথ-মিশ্র-বর ভাত খায, হাসে প্রভু শ্রী-গৌরসুন্দর ॥ ৩৭ ॥

आसिया देखेन जगन्नाथ-मिश्र-वर भात खाय, हासे प्रभु श्री-गौरसुन्दर ॥ ३७ ॥

āsiyā dekhena jagannātha-miśra-vara bhāta khāya, hāse prabhu śrī-gaurasundara || 37 ||

asiya dekhena jagannatha-misra-vara bhata khaya, hase prabhu sri-gaurasundara (37)

English translation:

(37) Jagannātha Miśra came there and saw Śrī Gaurasundara was smiling as He ate the brāhmaṇa’s rice.
