The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.5.18, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 18 of Adi-khanda chapter 5—“Eating the Mendicant Brahmana’s Offerings”.

ষড্-অক্ষর গোপাল-মন্ত্রের করে উপাসন গোপাল-নৈবেদ্য বিনা না করে ভোজন ॥ ১৮ ॥

षड्-अक्षर गोपाल-मन्त्रेर करे उपासन गोपाल-नैवेद्य विना ना करे भोजन ॥ १८ ॥

ṣaḍ-akṣara gopāla-mantrera kare upāsana gopāla-naivedya vinā nā kare bhojana || 18 ||

sad-aksara gopala-mantrera kare upasana gopala-naivedya vina na kare bhojana (18)

English translation:

(18) He worshiped the Lord with the six-syllable Gopāla mantra, and he would eat only what he had first offered to Gopāla.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The six-syllable Gopāla mantra refers to the mantra that begins with

oṃkāra, kāma-bīja (klīṃ), then dative case, and ending with namaḥ.
