The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.5.6, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 6 of Adi-khanda chapter 5—“Eating the Mendicant Brahmana’s Offerings”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.5.6:

“আমার পুত্রের পা’যে নাহিক নূপুর কোথায বাজিল বাদ্য নূপুর মধুর?” ॥ ৬ ॥

“आमार पुत्रेर पा’ये नाहिक नूपुर कोथाय बाजिल वाद्य नूपुर मधुर?” ॥ ६ ॥

“āmāra putrera pā’ye nāhika nūpura kothāya bājila vādya nūpura madhura?” || 6 ||

“amara putrera pa’ye nahika nupura kothaya bajila vadya nupura madhura?” (6)

English translation:

(6) “My son is not wearing ankle bells, so where has the sweet sound of ankle bells come from?”
