The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.4.25, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 25 of Adi-khanda chapter 4—“Name-giving Ceremony, Childhood Pastimes, and Thieves Kidnap the Lord”.

যত যত প্রবোধ করযে নারী-গণ প্রভু পুনঃ পুনঃ করি’ করযে ক্রন্দন ॥ ২৫ ॥

यत यत प्रबोध करये नारी-गण प्रभु पुनः पुनः करि’ करये क्रन्दन ॥ २५ ॥

yata yata prabodha karaye nārī-gaṇa prabhu punaḥ punaḥ kari’ karaye krandana || 25 ||

yata yata prabodha karaye nari-gana prabhu punah punah kari’ karaye krandana (25)

English translation:

(25) The more the ladies tried to pacify the Lord, the more He would cry.
