The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.4.24, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 24 of Adi-khanda chapter 4—“Name-giving Ceremony, Childhood Pastimes, and Thieves Kidnap the Lord”.

করাইতে চাহে প্রভু আপন-কীর্তন এতদ্ অর্থে করে প্রভু সঘনে রোদন ॥ ২৪ ॥

कराइते चाहे प्रभु आपन-कीर्तन एतद् अर्थे करे प्रभु सघने रोदन ॥ २४ ॥

karāite cāhe prabhu āpana-kīrtana etad arthe kare prabhu saghane rodana || 24 ||

karaite cahe prabhu apana-kirtana etad arthe kare prabhu saghane rodana (24)

English translation:

(24) The Lord wanted everyone to chant His holy names, so He cried frequently.
