The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.2.207, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 207 of Adi-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Appearance”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.2.207:

চতুর্-দিকে পুষ্প-বৃষ্টি করে দেব-গণ ‘জয’-শব্দে দুন্দুভি বাজযে অনুক্ষণ ॥ ২০৭ ॥

चतुर्-दिके पुष्प-वृष्टि करे देव-गण ‘जय’-शब्दे दुन्दुभि बाजये अनुक्षण ॥ २०७ ॥

catur-dike puṣpa-vṛṣṭi kare deva-gaṇa ‘jaya’-śabde dundubhi bājaye anukṣaṇa || 207 ||

catur-dike puspa-vrsti kare deva-gana ‘jaya’-sabde dundubhi bajaye anuksana (207)

English translation:

(207) The demigods showered flowers on all directions, and they played kettledrums as they chanted, “Jaya! Jaya!”
