The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.2.33, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 33 of Adi-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Appearance”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.2.33:

সর্ব-বৈষ্ণবের জন্ম নবদ্বীপ ধামে কোন মহা-প্রিয দাসের জন্ম অন্য-স্থানে ॥ ৩৩ ॥

सर्व-वैष्णवेर जन्म नवद्वीप धामे कोन महा-प्रिय दासेर जन्म अन्य-स्थाने ॥ ३३ ॥

sarva-vaiṣṇavera janma navadvīpa dhāme kona mahā-priya dāsera janma anya-sthāne || 33 ||

sarva-vaisnavera janma navadvipa dhame kona maha-priya dasera janma anya-sthane (33)

English translation:

(33) Most of the Vaiṣṇavas took birth in Navadvīpa, and some beloved associates appeared elsewhere.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Most of the Vaiṣṇavas appeared in the various villages of Navadvīpa, but some of the followers of Śrī Gaura, headed by Śrī Nityānanda, appeared elsewhere.
