The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.1.178, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 178 of Adi-khanda chapter 1—“Summary of Lord Gaura’s Pastimes”.

শেষ-খণ্ডে, নিত্যানন্দ মহা-মল্ল-রায বণিকাদি উদ্ধারিলা পরম-কৃপায ॥ ১৭৮ ॥
शेष-खण्डे, नित्यानन्द महा-मल्ल-राय वणिकादि उद्धारिला परम-कृपाय ॥ १७८ ॥
śeṣa-khaṇḍe, nityānanda mahā-malla-rāya vaṇikādi uddhārilā parama-kṛpāya || 178 ||
sesa-khande, nityananda maha-malla-raya vanikadi uddharila parama-krpaya (178)
English translation:
(178) In the Antya-khaṇḍa the commander-in-chief of the kīrtana party, Lord Nityānanda, delivers the merchant community.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The term mahā-malla-rāya indicates the commander-in-chief of the
kīrtana party.

śeṣa-khaṇḍe, gauracandra mahā-maheśvara nīlācale vāsa aṣṭādaśa-samvatsara
TRANSLATION
In the Antya-khaṇḍa the Supreme Lord, Śrī Gauracandra, resides in Nīlācala for eighteen years.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
Īśvara refers to the worshipable object of the controlled, while maheśvara refers to the controller of the controllers. The chief controller of all maheśvaras is mahā-maheśvara, from whom all īśvara-tattvas and maheśvara-tattvas are born. In other words, Śrī Gaura-Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Absolute Truth, and the Lord of all lords.
