মধ্য-খণ্ডে, হলধর হৈলা গৌরচন্দ্র হস্তে হল-মুষল দিলা নিত্যানন্দ ॥ ১২৪ ॥

madhya-khande, haladhara haila gauracandra haste hala-musala dila nityananda (124)
English translation:
(124) In the Madhya-khaṇḍa Lord Gauracandra accepts the mood of Balarāma, and Nityānanda Prabhu gives Him a plow and club.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
As Śrī Gaurahari is svayaṃ-rūpa, or the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Baladeva, His manifestation, is certainly included in Him. So it is not improper for the svayaṃ-rūpa to display Baladeva’s pastimes and hold His weapons. Nityānanda Prabhu also handed His own weapons like the plow and club to Śrīmān Mahāprabhu for that particular pastime.
