Verse 26.4

Here also those lords of the twice-borns skillful in the horoscope they declare tithi (lunar day) is equal to the degree of the Sun [in a zodiac sign]. Among the defined night and day [zodiac signs], the birth in the opposite [day and night, respectively]. The time [of birth] is to be calculated by the portions in degrees [that have risen in the zodiac sign].
