The Sanskrit text and English translation of the Brihat Jataka of Varahamihira.

चपलश्चतुरो भीरुः पटुरुत्साही धनी मृगे भोगी ।
शठ गर्वितः कृतघ्नो हिंस्रः पापश्चरौद्रऋक्षे ॥ ३॥

capalaścaturo bhīruḥ paṭurutsāhī dhanī mṛge bhogī |
śaṭha garvitaḥ kṛtaghno hiṃsraḥ pāpaścaraudraṛkṣe
|| 3||

In Mrigashira nakshatra, one is fickle, crafty, timid, skillful, energetic, wealthy, and devoted to enjoyment. In Ardra nakshatra, one is deceitful, haughty, ungrateful, cruel, and wicked.
