The Brihad-bhagavatamrita Verse 2.4.251, English translation, including commentary (Dig-darshini-tika): an important Vaishnava text dealing with the importance of devotional service. दूराद् एव गतोऽद्रक्षं वानरांस् तान् इतस् ततः ।
प्लावमानान् महा-लोलान् राम रामेति वादिनः ॥ २५१ ॥dūrād eva gato'drakṣaṃ vānarāṃs tān itas tataḥ |
plāvamānān mahā-lolān rāma rāmeti vādinaḥ || 251 ||dūrāt–from a distance; eva–indeed; gataḥ–having traveled; adrākṣam–I saw; vānarān–monkeys; tān–them; itaḥ tataḥ–hither and thither; plavamānān–jumping; mahā-lolān–very restless; rāma rāma–O Rāma, O reservoir of pleasure; iti–thus; vādinaḥ–saying.
From a distance, I saw many very restless monkeys jumping about and repeatedly chanting the names of Śrī Rāma.

Śrī Gopa-kumāra says, “Those rambunctious monkeys were the eternal associates of Śrī Rāmacandrajī and because of His indescribable sweetness, they were jumping here and there.”
