The Brihad-bhagavatamrita Verse 2.3.114, English translation, including commentary (Dig-darshini-tika): an important Vaishnava text dealing with the importance of devotional service. The Brihad-bhagavatamrita, although an indepent Sanskrit work, covers the essential teachings of the Shrimad Bhagavatam (Bhagavata-purana). This is verse 2.3.114 contained in Chapter 3—Bhajana (loving service)—of Part two (prathama-khanda).

श्री-गोप-कुमार उवाच—
तच् छङ्कर-प्रसादेन परानन्द-भरं गतः ।
किञ्चिद् इच्छन्न् अपि ब्रह्मन् नाशकं वदितुं ह्रिया ॥ ११४ ॥

śrī-gopa-kumāra uvāca
tac chaṅkara-prasādena parānanda-bharaṃ gataḥ |
kiñcid icchann api brahman nāśakaṃ vadituṃ hriyā || 114 ||

śrī-gopa-kumāraḥ uvāca–Śrī Gopa-kumāra said; tat–that; śaṅkara–of Śaṅkara (śaṃ karoti iti śaṅkaraḥ–one who awards well-being is known as Śaṅkara); prasādena–by the mercy; para-ānandabharam–overwhelmed by great bliss; gataḥ–attained; kiñcit–something; icchan–desiring; api–also; brahman–O brāhmaṇa; na aśakam–I was unable; vaditum–to speak; hriyā–out of shyness.

Śrī Gopa-kumāra said: I was overjoyed to receive the mercy of Śrī Śaṅkara. At that point I desired to speak (to the Vaikuṇṭha associates), but out of shyness, I could not.

Śrī Gopa-kumāra says, “I was submerged in supreme ecstasy due to the mercy of Śrī Śaṅkara. At that time I wanted to converse a little with Śrī Bhagavān’s associates but, feeling shy, I could not utter a word.”
