Śrī Gopa-kumāra said: O brāhmaṇa, a great desire to go to Vaikuṇṭha arose in me and drove me to dance uncontrollably on a stage of the waves of a boundless ocean of anxiety.

Commentary: Dig-darśinī-ṭīkā with Bhāvānuvāda

(By Śrīla Sanātana Gosvāmī himself including a deep purport of that commentary)

Śrī Gopa-kumāra says, “After that, a great greed to reach Vaikuṇṭha began to make me dance uncontrollably on a stage made of the waves in a boundless ocean of anxious thoughts. In other words, I became agitated with tremendous worry as to whether or not I would be able to reach my desired destination, Vaikuṇṭha.”
