The Brihad-bhagavatamrita Verse 2.3.18, English translation, including commentary (Dig-darshini-tika): an important Vaishnava text dealing with the importance of devotional service. विधाय भगवत्-पूजां तयातिथ्येन सत्-कृतः ।
दिनानि कतिचित् तत्र भोगार्थम् अहम् अर्थितः ॥ १८ ॥vidhāya bhagavat-pūjāṃ tayātithyena sat-kṛtaḥ |
dināni katicit tatra bhogārtham aham arthitaḥ || 18 ||vidhāya–having completed; bhagavat–of the Lord; pūjām–worship; tayā–by her; ātithyena–as an honored guest; sat-kṛtaḥ–welcomed; dināni–days; katicit–some; tatra–there; bhoga–of pleasure; artham–for the purpose; aham–I; arthitaḥ–was requested.
As soon as Dharaṇī-devī finished her worship of Śrī Bhagavān, she honored me as a welcome guest and requested me to stay for a few days and enjoy the pleasures there.

Śrī Gopa-kumāra says, “After completing her worship of Bhagavān, Dharaṇī-devī honored me, considering me to be her guest. She requested me to stay for a few days to relish the pleasures there.”
