The Brihad-bhagavatamrita Verse 1.4.6, English translation, including commentary (Dig-darshini-tika): an important Vaishnava text dealing with the importance of devotional service. The Brihad-bhagavatamrita, although an indepent Sanskrit work, covers the essential teachings of the Shrimad Bhagavatam (Bhagavata-purana). This is verse 1.4.6 contained in Chapter 4—Bhakta (the devotee)—of Part one (prathama-khanda).

कृष्णाविष्टो योऽस्मृतात्मेव मत्तो नृत्यन् गायन् कम्पमानो रुदंश् च ।
लोकान् सर्वान् उद्धरन् संस्मृतिभ्यो विष्णोर् भक्तिं हर्षयामास तन्वन् ॥ ६ ॥

kṛṣṇāviṣṭo yo'smṛtātmeva matto nṛtyan gāyan kampamāno rudaṃś ca |
lokān sarvān uddharan saṃsmṛtibhyo viṣṇor bhaktiṃ harṣayāmāsa tanvan || 6 ||

Immersed in selfless thoughts of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, you appear intoxicated like a madman, sometimes dancing, sometimes singing, sometimes crying and sometimes trembling. You take great pleasure in showering Viṣṇu-bhakti upon everyone, rescuing them from the agony of material life.

Commentary: Dig-darśinī-ṭīkā with Bhāvānuvāda

Being absorbed in śrī-kṛṣṇa-bhakti, you become mad as if intoxicated, sometimes dancing, singing, trembling and sometimes crying, delivering everyone from this saṃsṛti. Here saṃsṛti means the twenty-one types of concomitant material miseries explained in nyāya-śāstra such as janma, birth, maraṇa, death, and śoka, lamentation.

Śrī Hari-bhakti-sudhodaya (15.14) expresses it in this way:

श्रुत्वात्य्-अद्भुत-वैराग्यज् जनास् तस्योज्ज्वल गिरः अश्रूनि मुमुचुः केचिद् विक्ष्य के’प्य् अनमंश् च तम्
लीलयान्ये परे हास्याद् भक्त्या केचन विस्मयात् जनास् तं सङ्घशो’पश्यन् सर्वथापि हतैनसः

śrutvāty-adbhuta-vairāgyaj janās tasyojjvala giraḥ aśrūni mumucuḥ kecid vikṣya ke’py anamaṃś ca tam
līlayānye pare hāsyād bhaktyā kecana vismayāt janās taṃ saṅghaśo’paśyan sarvathāpi hatainasaḥ

Simply by hearing the dialogue of Śrī Prahlāda’s remarkable renunciation, some people by seeing, some by shedding tears, some by offering praṇāmas, some by hearing of his transcendental pastimes and some by seeing his ecstasy alone, became awe-struck with wonder. In this way, their worldly sorrows became null and void.

Śrī Prahlāda, not only by destroying the negativity of worldly sorrows, but rather by distributing bhakti for Śrī Hari everywhere, immersed everyone in positive, divine ecstasy.
