The Brihad-bhagavatamrita Verse 1.2.50, English translation, including commentary (Dig-darshini-tika): an important Vaishnava text dealing with the importance of devotional service. The Brihad-bhagavatamrita, although an indepent Sanskrit work, covers the essential teachings of the Shrimad Bhagavatam (Bhagavata-purana). This is verse 1.2.50 contained in Chapter 2—Divya (the celestial plane)—of Part one (prathama-khanda).

Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration, Word-for-word and English translation of verse 1.2.50:

यस्योपरि न वर्तेत ब्रह्माण्डे भुवनं परम् ।
लोको नारायणस्यापि वैकुण्ठाख्यो यद्-अन्तरे ॥ ५० ॥

yasyopari na varteta brahmāṇḍe bhuvanaṃ param |
loko nārāyaṇasyāpi vaikuṇṭhākhyo yad-antare || 50 ||

There is no other planet superior to or above this Brahmaloka. Even the Vaikuṇṭha-loka of Śrī Nārāyaṇa is within this universe.

Commentary: Dig-darśinī-ṭīkā with Bhāvānuvāda

(By Śrīla Sanātana Gosvāmī himself including a deep purport of that commentary)

There is no planet above yours in this Brahmaloka. It is the topmost of all planets. If you say that above your planet is Śrī Bhagavān’s Vaikuṇṭha-loka, then your brahmāṇḍa is present within this Vaikuṇṭha-loka. Therefore Brahmaloka is not separate.
