श्रीकृष्णबाणासुरसंग्रामः तत्र माहेश्वरज्वरेण ।
माहेश्वरेण च कृता भगवत् स्तुतिः ।
श्रीशुक उवाच ।
अपश्यतां चानिरुद्धं तद्बन्धूनां च भारत ।
चत्वारो वार्षिका मासा व्यतीयुरनुशोचताम् ॥ १ ॥
