evamuktaṃ puruṣottamatvamātmano nāmanirvacanena darśayati yasmādi it | yasmātkṣaraṃ jaḍavargamatikrānto'haṃ nityamuktatvāt | akṣarāccetanavargādapyuttamaśca niyantṛtvāt | ato loke vede ca puruṣottama iti prathitaḥ prakhyāto'smi | tathā ca śrutiḥ sa eva sarvasyeśānaḥ sarvasyādhipatiḥ sarvamidaṃ praśāstītyādi ||18||

yogibhirupāsyaṃ paramātmānamuktvā bhaktairupāsyaṃ bhagavantaṃ vadan bhagavattve'pi svasya kṛṣṇasvarūpasya puruṣottama iti nāma vyācakṣāṇaḥ sarvotkarṣamāha yasmāditi | kṣaraṃ puruṣaṃ jīvātmānamatītaḥ akṣarātpuruṣātbrahmata uttamādavikārātparamātmanaḥ puruṣādapyuttamaḥ |

yogināmapi sarveṣāṃ
madgatenāntarātmanā |
śraddhāvān bhajate yo māṃ
sa me yuktatamo mataḥ || [Gītā 6.47] iti |

upāsakavaiśiṣṭyādevopāsyavaiśiṣṭyalābhāt | cakārādbhagavato vaikuṇṭhanāthādeḥ sakāśādapi ete cāṃśakalāḥ puṃsaḥ kṛṣṇastu bhagavān svayamiti sūtokterahamuttamaḥ |

atra yadyapyekameva saccidānandasvarūpaṃ vastu brahmaparamātmabhagavatśabdairucyate na tu vastutaḥ svarūpataḥ ko'pi bhedo'sti svarūpadvayābhāvāt(BhP 6.9.35) iti ṣaṣṭhaskandhokteḥ | tadapi tattadupāsakānāṃ sādhanataḥ phalataśca bhedadarśanātbheda iva vyavahriyate | tathā hi brahmaparamātmabhagavadupāsakānāṃ krameṇa tattatprāptisādhanaṃ jñānaṃ yogo bhaktiśca | phalaṃ ca jñānayogayorvastuto mokṣa eva, bhaktestu premavatpārṣadatvaṃ ca | tatra bhaktyā vinā jñānayogābhyāṃ naiṣkarmyamapyacyutabhāvavarjitaṃ na śobhate [BhP 1.5.12] iti | pureha bhūman bahavo'pi yoginaḥ [BhP 10.14.5] ityādidarśanāt
na mokṣa iti |

brahmopāsakaiḥ paramātmopāsakaiḥ svasādhyaphalasiddhyarthaṃ bhagavato bhaktiravaśyaṃ kartavyaiva | bhagavadupāsakastu svasādhyaphalasiddhyarthaṃ na brahmopāsanāpi paramātmopāsanā kriyate | na jñānaṃ na ca vairāgyaṃ prāyaḥ śreyo bhavediha [BhP 11.20.31] iti, yatkarmabhiryattapasā jñānavairāgyataśca yat[BhP 11.20.32] ityādau

sarvaṃ madbhaktiyogena
madbhakto labhate'ñjasā |
svargāpavargaṃ maddhāma
kathañcidyadi vāñchati || iti [BhP 11.20.33] |

vai sādhanasampattiḥ
puruṣārthacatuṣṭaye |
tayā vinā tadāpnoti
naro nārāyaṇāśrayaḥ || ityādi vacanebhyaḥ ||

ataeva bhagavadupāsanayā svargāpavargapremādīni sarvaphalānyeva labdhuṃ śakyante | brahmaparamātmopāsanayā tu na premādīnītyata eva brahmaparamātmābhyāṃ bhagavadutkarṣaḥ khalu abhede'pyucyate | yathā tejastvenābhede'pi jyotirdīpāgnipuñjeṣu madhye śītādyārtikṣayāddhetoragnipuñja eva śreṣṭha ucyate | tatrāpi bhagavataḥ śrīkṛṣṇasya tu parama evotkarṣaḥ | yathā agnipuñjādapi sūryasya, yena brahmopāsanāparipākato labhyo nirvāṇamokṣaḥ svadveṣṭṛbhyo'pyaghabakjarāsandhādibhyo mahāpāpibhyo datta iti | ataeva brahmaṇo hi pratiṣṭhāhamityatra yathāvadeva vyākhyātaṃ śrīsvāmicaraṇaiḥ |

cidānandākāraṃ jaladarucisāraṃ śrutigirāṃ
vrajastrīṇāṃ hāraṃ bhavajaladhipāraṃ kṛtadhiyām |
vihantuṃ bhūbhāraṃ vidadhadavatāraṃ muhuraho
tato vāraṃ vāraṃ bhajata kuśalārambhakṛtinaḥ || iti |

vaṃśīvvibhūṣitakarānnavanīradābhāt
pītāmbarādaruṇabimbaphalādharauṣṭhāt |
pūrṇendusundaramukhādaravindanetrāt
kṛṣṇātparaṃ kimapi tattvamahaṃ na jāne || iti |

pramāṇato'pi nirṇīyaṃ
kṛṣṇamāhātmyamadbhutam |
na śaknuvanti ye soḍhuṃ
te mūḍhā nirayaṃ gatāḥ ||

ityuktavadbhiḥ kṛṣṇe sarvotkarṣa eva vyavasthāpita ityataḥ dvāvimau ityādi ślokatrayasyāsya vyākhyāyāmasyāmabhyasūyā nāviṣkartavyā | namo'stu kevalavidbhyaḥ ||18||
