tadevaṃ na tadbhāsayate sūrya ityādinā pārameśvaraṃ paraṃ dhāmoktam | tatprāptānāṃ cāpunarāvṛttiruktā | tatra ca saṃsāriṇo'bhāvamāśaṅkya saṃsārisvarūpaṃ dehādivyatiriktaṃ darśitam | idānīṃ tadeva pārameśvaraṃ rūpamanantaśaktitvena nirūpayati yadityādicaturbhiḥ | ādiyādiṣu sthitaṃ yadanekaprakāraṃ tejo viśvaṃ prakāśayati tatsarvaṃ tejo madīyameva jānīhi ||12||

atha madaṃśasya jīvasya saṃsāraraktasya mumukṣośca bhogamokṣasādhanamahameveti bhāvenāha yaditi caturbhiḥ | āditye sthitaṃ yattejo yaccandre'gnau ca sthitaṃ satsarvaṃ jagatprakāśayati, tattejo māmakaṃ madīyaṃ viddhi | uditena sūryeṇa jvalitena ca vahninādṛṣṭabhogasādhanāni karmāṇi niṣpadyante | timirajāḍyanāśādayaśca sukhahetavo bhavanti | uditena candreṇa cauṣadhipoṣatāpaśāntijyotsnāvihārāstathābhūtā bhavantīti teṣāṃ tattatsādhakaṃ tejo mattejovibhūtirityarthaḥ ||12||
