tadanena granthena tatkṣetraṃ yacca yādṛkca ityetadvyākhyātam | idānīṃ yadvikāri yataśca yatsa ca yo yatprabhāvaśca ityetāvadvyākhyātavyam | tatra prakṛtipuruṣayoḥ saṃsārahetutvakathanena yadvikāri yataśca yaditi prakṛtimityādi dvābhyāṃ prapañcyate | sa ca yo yatprabhāvaśca iti tu puruṣa ityādi dvyābhyāmiti vivekaḥ | tatra saptama īśvarasya dve prakṛtī parāpare kṣetrakṣetrajñalakṣaṇe upanyasya etadyonīni bhūtāni [Gītā 7.7] ityuktam | tatrāparā prakṛtiḥ kṣetralakṣaṇā parā tu jīvalakṣaṇeti tayoranāditvamuktvā tadubhayayonitvaṃ bhūtānāmucyate prakṛtimiti |

paramātmānamuktvā kṣetrajñaśabdavācyaṃ jīvātmānaṃ vaktuṃ kutastasya māyāsaṃsleṣaḥ, kadā tadārambho'bhūdityapekṣāyāmāha prakṛtiṃ māyāṃ puruṣaṃ jīvaṃ cobhāvapyanādī na vidyate ādi kāraṇaṃ yayostathābhūtau viddhi anāderīśvarasya mama śaktitvāt |
bhūmirāpo'nalo vāyuḥ khaṃ mano buddhireva ca |
ahaṅkāra itīyaṃ me bhinnā prakṛtiraṣṭadhā ||
apareyamitastvanyāṃ prakṛtiṃ viddhi me parām |
jīvabhūtāṃ mahābāho yayedaṃ dhāryate jagat || [Gītā 7.4-5]
iti maduktermāyājīvayorapi macchaktitvena anāditvāttayoḥ saṃśleṣo'pi anādiriti bhāvaḥ | tatra mithaḥ saṃśliṣṭayorapi tayorvastutaḥ pārthakyamasti eva ityāha vikārāṃśca dehendriyādīn guṇāṃśca guṇapariṇāmān sukhaduḥkhaśokamohādīn prakṛtisambhūtān prakṛtyudbhūtān viddhīti kṣetrākārapariṇatāyāḥ prakṛteḥ sakāśādbhinnameva jīvaṃ viddhīti bhāvaḥ ||19||
