asmādeva samyagvyavasāyātsa hitvā durācāratāṃ kṣipramiti | cirakālamadharmātmāpi madbhajanamahimnā kṣipraṃ śīghrameva bhavati dharmātmā dharmānugatcitto durācāratvaṃ jhaṭityeva tyaktvā sadācāro bhavatītyarthaḥ | kiṃ ca śaśvannityaṃ śāntiṃ viṣayabhogaspṛhānivṛttiṃ nigacchati nitarāṃ prāpnotyatinirvedāt |

tataśca tasya bhaktasya durācāratvagamakāḥ kāmakrodhādyā utkhātadaṃṣṭroragadaṃśavadakiñcitkarā eva jñeyā iti anudhvaniḥ | ataeva śaśvatsarvadaiva śāntiṃ kāmakrodhādyupaśamaṃ nitarāṃ gacchatyatiśayena prāpnotīti durācāratvadaśāyāmapi sa śuddhāntaḥkaraṇa eva ucyata iti bhāvaḥ |

nanu yadi sa dharmātmā syāttadā nāsti ko'pi vivādaḥ | kintu kaściddurācārabhakto maraṇaparyantamapi durācāratvaṃ na jahāti, tasya vārtā ityato bhaktavatsalo bhagavān saprauḍhi sakopamivāha kaunteyeti | mama bhakto na praṇaśyati | tadapi prāṇanāśe adhaḥpātaṃ na yāti | kutarkakarkaśavādino naitanmanyeranniti śokaśaṅkāvyākulamarjunaṃ protsāhayati he kaunteya paṭahakāhalādimahāghoṣapūrvakaṃ vivadamānānāṃ sabhāṃ gatvā bāhumutkṣipya niḥśaṅkaṃ pratijānīhi pratijñāṃ kuru | katham ? me mama parameśvarasya bhakto durācāro'pi na praṇeśyetyapi tu kṛtārtha eva bhavati | tataśca te taṃ prauḍhivijṛmbhitavidhvaṃsitakutarkāḥ santo
