te kena prakāreṇa bhajantītyucyate dvābhyāṃ satatamiti | satataṃ sarvadā brahmaniṣṭhaṃ gurumupasṛtya vedāntavākyavicāreṇa gurūpasadanetarakāle ca praṇavajapopaniṣadāvartanādibhirmāṃ sarvopaniṣatpratipādyaṃ brahmasvarūpaṃ kīrtayanto vedāntaśāstrādhyayanarūpaśravaṇavyāpāraviṣayīkurvanta iti yāvat | tatha dṛḍhavratā dṛḍhāni pratipakṣaiścālayitumaśakyāni ahiṃsāsatyāsteyabrahmacaryāparigrahādīni vratāni yeṣāṃ te śamadamādisādhanasampannā iti yāvat | tathā coktaṃ patañjalinā ahiṃsāstayāsteyabrahmacaryāparigrahā yamāḥ [Ys 2.30] te tyjātideśakālasamayānavacchinnāḥ sārvabhaumā mahāvratam [ya़्s

tathā namasyantaśca māṃ kāyavāṅmanobhirnamaskurvantaśca māṃ bhagavantaṃ vāsudevaṃ sakalakalyāṇaguṇanidhānamiṣṭadevatārūpeṇa gururūpeṇa ca sthitam | cakārāt

śravaṇaṃ kīrtanaṃ viṣṇoḥ smaraṇaṃ pādasevanam |
arcanaṃ vandanaṃ dāsyaṃ sakhyamātmanivedanam || [BhP 7.5.23]

iti vandanasahacaritaṃ śravaṇādyapi bodhavyam | arcanaṃ pādasevanamityapi gururūpe tasmin sukarameva |

atra māmiti punarvacanaṃ saguṇarūpaparāmarśārtham | anyathā vaiyarthyaprasaṅgāt | tathā bhaktyā madviṣayeṇa pareṇa premṇā nityayuktāḥ sarvadā saṃyuktāḥ etena sarvasādhanapauṣkalyaṃ pratibandhakābhāvaśca darśitaḥ |

yasya deve parā bhaktiḥ yathā deve tathā gurau |
tasyaite kathitā hyarthāḥ prakāśante mahātmanaḥ || [ŚvetU 6.23]

patañjalinā coktaṃ tataḥ pratyakcetanādhigamo'pyantarāyābhāvaśca [Ys 1.29] iti | tata īśvarapraṇidhānātpratyakcetanasya tvaṃpoadalakṣyasyādhigamaḥ sākṣātkāro bhavati | antarāyāṇāṃ vighnānāṃ cābhāvo bhavatīti sūtrasyārthaḥ |

tadevaṃ śamadamādisādhanasampannā vedāntaśravaṇamananaparāyaṇāḥ parameśvare paramagurau premṇā namaskārādinā ca vigatavighnāḥ paripūrṇasarvasādhanāḥ santo māmupāsate vijātīyapratyayānantaritena sajātīyapratyayapravāheṇa śravaṇamananottarabhāvinā satataṃ cintayanti mahātmānaḥ | anena nididhyāsanaṃ caramasādhanaṃ darśitam | etādṛśasādhanapauṣkalye sati yadvedāntavākyajamakhaṇḍagocaraṃ sākṣātkārarūpamahaṃ brahmāsmīti jñānaṃ tatsarvaśaṅkākalaṅkāspaṣṭaṃ sarvasādhanaphalabhūtaṃ svotpattimātreṇa dīpa iva tamaḥ sakalamajñānaṃ tatkāryaṃ ca nāśayatīti nirapekṣam
eva sākṣānmokṣaheturna tu bhūmijayakrameṇa bhrūmadhye prāṇapraveśanaṃ mūrdhanyayā nāḍyā prāṇotkramaṇamarcirādimārgeṇa brahmalokagamanaṃ tadbhogāntakālavilambaṃ pratīkṣate | ato yatprākpratijñātamidaṃ tu te guhyatamaṃ pravakṣyāmyuanasūyave jñānamiti tadetaduktam | phalaṃ cāsyāśubhānmokṣaṇaṃ prāguktamevetīha punarnoktam | evamatrāyaṃ gambhīro bhagavato'bhiprāyaḥ | uttānārthyastu prakaṭa eva ||14||

bhajantītyuktam | tadbhajanameva kimityata āha satataṃ sadeti nātra karmayoga iva kāladeśapātraśuddhādyapekṣā kartavyetyarthaḥ |

na deśaniyamastatra na kālaniyamastatha |
nocchiṣṭhādau niṣedho' sti śrīharernāmni lubdhaka || iti smṛteḥ |

yatanto yatamānaḥ | yathā kuṭumbapālanārthaṃ dīnā gṛhasthā dhanikadvārādau dhanārthaṃ yatante, tathaiva madbhaktāḥ kīrtanādibhaktiprāptyarthaṃ bhaktasabhādau yatante. prāpya ca bhaktimadhīyamānaṃ śāstraṃ paṭhata iva punaḥ punarabhyasyanti ca | etāvanti nāmagrahaṇāni, etāvatyaḥ praṇatayaḥ, etāvatyaḥ paricaryāścāvaśyakartavyā ityevaṃ dṛḍhāni vratāni niyamā yeṣāṃ te. yadvā, dṛḍhānyapatitānyekādaśyādivratāni niyamā yeṣāṃ te.| namasyantaśca cakāraḥ śravaṇapādasevanādyanuktasarvabhaktisaṅgrahārthaḥ | nityayuktā bhāvinaṃ mannityasaṃyogamākāṅkṣanta āśaṃsāyāṃ bhūtavac
