kuta ityapekṣāyāmubhayorvaiṣamyamāha vyavasāyātmiketi | iha īśvarārādhanalakṣaṇe karmayoge vyavasāyātmikā parameśvarabhaktyaiva dhruvaṃ tariṣyāmīti niścayātmikā ekaiva ekaniṣṭhaiva buddhirbhavati | avyavasāyināṃ tu īśvarārādhanabahirmukhānāṃ kāmināṃ kāmānāmānantyātanantāḥ | tatrāpi hi karmaphalaguṇaphalatvādiprakārabhedādbahuśākhāśca buddhayo bhavanti | īśvarārādhanārthaṃ hi nityaṃ naimittikaṃ ca karma kiñcidaṅgavaiguṇye'pi na naśyati | yathā śaknuyāttathā kuryāditi hi tadvidhīyate | na ca vaiguṇyamapi | īśvaroddeśenaiva vaiguṇyopaśamāt | na tu tathā kāmyaṃ karma | ato mahadvaiṣamyamiti bhāvaḥ

kāmyakarmaviṣayakabuddhito niṣkāmakarmaviṣayakabuddhervaiśiṣṭyamāha vyavasāyeti | he kurunandana iha vaidikeṣu sarveṣu karmasu vyavasāyātmikā bhagavadarcanarūpairniṣkāmakarmabhirviśuddhacitto viṣorṇādivattadantargatena jñānenātmayāthātmyamahamanubhaviṣyāmīti niścayarūpā buddhirekā ekavviṣayatvāt | ekasmai tadanubhavāya teṣāṃ vihitatvāditi yāvat | avyavasāyināṃ kāmyakarmānuṣṭhātṝṇāṃ tu buddhayo hyanantāḥ | paśvannaputrasvargādyanantakāmaviṣayatvāt | tatrāpi bahuśākhāḥ | ekaphalake'pi darśapaurṇamāsādāvāyuḥ suprajastādyavāntarānekaphalāśaṃsāśravaṇāt
